For starters, I've lived most of my life in deep south Texas. Although where I'm from is a small town compared to cities like Dallas and San Antonio, the Rio Grande Valley(That's where I'm from)is huge. So I guess you can say that I'm a metropolitan small town guy. I'm a No Nonsense kind of guy. I tell it like it is, but can also sugar coat things to spare feelings. I know it's a contradiction but I try not to hurt people's feelings if it's not necessary. I have a great sense of humor and I love to laugh and make other people laugh. I am a 25 year old mexican american college educated male who is looking something that is neither monetary nor material. For the past two years, I've lived and worked in downtown Austin and have become sort of yuppy/hippy as I gave up having a car, only because I worked literally three blocks away.

I'm originally from McAllen Texas. I moved to Austin to attend St. Edward's University in 2002 and graduated in 2006 with degrees in Finance and Marketing. I've come to realize that those two areas are in overabundance today. Since then I've worked for a financial firm and have come to hate cubicles and florescent lights.

I will be visiting Mexico City for a couple months beginning in August and will be back in October for the birth of my niece. My goal is to reconnect with my family roots there and becoming completely fluent in Spanish.

I love working with my hands as well as my brain. I am skilled at many things that require both such as electronics(not it) Mechanics and cooking. I am a big guy who watched to many King Arthur movies as a kid so I will stand up for the little guy and open doors for ladies. I believe that I have a right to defend myself and my family regardless of who or what the problem may be. I am also a bit of a goof since I love the occasional practical joke and giving bear hugs to the ones I care about.

First of all... Ugly Betty is my favorite tv show and I do not think I'm ugly at all in fact I'm quite the opposite lol so please don't message me saying "why are you saying you're ugly, I think your beautiful..." By the way ugly betty is a really good show and everyone should watch it!

My favorite season is autumn, but where I live there is no such thing. A part of me loves my independence - the freedom to go where I want, when I want, or to stay home and watch a full season of Smallville without scrutiny. Another part of me longs to be a housewife in the midwest - decorating my house for each season/holiday and baking pies every week.
