Pharr Texas Events
Since 1986, the Urban Planner Calendar has kept you up to date with events, events and other fun things to do with your family in America's hometowns. Delivered free to millions of households across America each December, this calendar is a time-tested tool to help families stay organized.
Our network of franchisees works coast to coast, border to border, to ensure that you get all the information and savings you're interested in. Our calendar is full of coupons for popular local retailers, so you can save money while supporting small businesses right in your hometown.
To learn more about how to become a franchise owner, please visit our Franchise Information page. Our franchisees set their own working hours to provide a valuable service to homeowners and local businesses in your area.
If something happens near you that people in your neighborhood need to know, why not file it today? If you are in the city planner calendar for your region, you will see a great business opportunity today.
This activity-style event is all about helping people get to know each other in a fun, relaxed environment and to get involved in a common purpose. You can hold a business meeting, social event or even an event for your family, friends and neighbors.
Depending on the demand and size of the venue you are booking, you may need more lead time. If your location is in high demand, you should book your venue nine months to a year in advance. For example, if you are holding an event where a group of participants is all taken into their hands - for activities, it is best to plan them at least four weeks in advance.
If you are holding your event several times in different cities or countries, you should book about six weeks in advance. This will give you time to plan the preparation of the menu, the sending of invitations and reminders, the preparation of icebreakers, activities and gifts, as well as any presentations and public remarks you wish to share at the event. You can also book multiple events at the same location, securing consecutive dates that you may need.
This helps to make the experience more pleasant for the guests, but also for your employees, volunteers and other guests of the event.
Due to the size of the group, it can be difficult to find a place for the group once you know the date of the event. Therefore, I suggest booking a venue at least six weeks before the event date. Note that this timeline is a proposed timeline for booking your venue and does not include the time you need to research and visit places you might consider. If you are thinking of booking another place, give yourself at least six weeks before you lock things up.
Of course, this all depends on the size of your meeting, so make sure you show up before each event. If your group is larger than what you can accommodate, you should plan as much space as possible. Delays lead to a lower quantity and quality of location options.
Every month we will award a local photographer who submitted a new photo of a nearby location. If you want to add your own home picture to the calendar, please contact your local publisher.
We prefer family-friendly events that are just a short walk or drive away and can support the economy of your home town. If you are looking for a place for a family-friendly event such as a birthday party, wedding or family reunion, you will find a place that is dynamic in its function and purpose. Due to the high booking costs and the limited number of available locations, we do not book events in several cities at the same venue or provider.
