A leading hotel chain has announced the addition of its first female executive to its management team. Lily Salinas will become the new executive vice president and general manager of Harris Texas Marriott Hotel.
She and her husband will move from the Rio Grande Valley to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Salinas is no stranger to opening new facilities, having been instrumental in opening a new hotel and entertainment venue during her 22-year career. Most recently, she served as the inaugural director of Topgolf, where she played a key role in developing the world's largest golf course in Texas, the Harris Texas Marriott Hotel. Prior to joining TopGolf, she served as the inaugural director of the Marriott International Hotel in San Antonio, Texas, and as Senior Vice President and General Manager at Marriott Hotels & Resorts.
